Overview
MarsBaseX provides prompt inspiration, account-based publishing and saving, browser-based Image to Prompt, image details and downloads, and AI Chat. This policy explains what is processed locally, what is stored by MarsBaseX, and when a service provider receives information.
Images used only in Image to Prompt are analyzed on your device. Images you deliberately publish are uploaded and become public. AI Chat messages are processed online.
Images, prompts, and publishing
Image to Prompt is processed locally
When you select an image on Image to Prompt, the source image is read through a temporary browser object URL and analyzed on your device. The MarsBaseX implementation does not send that source image to the MarsBaseX server, jsDelivr, Hugging Face, DeepSeek, or another AI captioning API. The server receives only a daily tool-usage event used to enforce the free allowance.
Published uploads are different
If a signed-in user submits Publish Prompt, the selected image, prompt, title, category, model, aspect ratio, tags, account ID, and publication date are uploaded to MarsBaseX and displayed publicly. Card details may also display creator identity, original dimensions, likes, saved state, download information, and a MarsBaseX watermark or brand mark on public previews.
Prompt visibility
Prompt text may be visually hidden from signed-out visitors. Copying a prompt and some download actions can require sign-in. Public images, titles, tags, creator details, and aggregate interaction counts may still be visible.
Accounts and activity
We may store your username, email address, display name, avatar, login history, published prompt cards, likes, saved prompts, copy or download events, daily tool counts, and security records. Hosting and abuse-prevention systems may also process IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps.
This information is used to operate accounts, preserve real interaction counts, enforce limits, diagnose errors, secure downloads and previews, and protect the service from abuse. MarsBaseX does not sell personal information.
AI Chat and service providers
Online AI Chat is separate from Image to Prompt. When a signed-in user sends a chat message, MarsBaseX sends the message and limited recent conversation context from the server to DeepSeek so it can return an answer. The API key remains server-side. Chat history shown in the browser is stored locally on that device; daily account usage and a hashed network identifier may be retained for quota and abuse prevention.
Hosting and infrastructure providers support website delivery, storage, security, and performance. Google AdSense may load advertising resources and use cookies or similar identifiers under Google’s policies and available consent choices.
Cookies, local storage, security, and retention
MarsBaseX uses cookies and local storage for sign-in, guest allowances, saved drafts, interface state, and local chat history. Clearing them may sign you out or remove local drafts and history. Google AdSense may use third-party cookies or similar identifiers for serving, measuring, and personalizing ads where permitted.
Temporary Image to Prompt previews remain in browser memory until you replace the image, reload, or close the tab. Public content and account records remain while the account or publication is active. Short-lived quota counters normally expire within two days; a guest identifier cookie may remain for up to one year; security and server logs may be retained for a limited operational period.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
You may use Image to Prompt without an account, choose not to publish, edit profile details, clear browser storage, and request access, correction, or deletion of stored data. Do not publish material you want to keep private.
To request deletion of a published image or card, avatar, account, saved activity, or related stored data, email team@marsbasex.com from the address connected to your account and identify the content or account. We may ask you to verify ownership. Limited records can remain temporarily in backups or where required for security, fraud prevention, or law.
Children’s privacy
MarsBaseX is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their location. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so the request can be reviewed.

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
